Is the track up to the house suitable for all cars?

Yes, unless you have a very low-slung sports car!

Is the property suitable for disabled visitors?

Unfortunately there are a lot of stairs in both cottages and some uneven ground so we would not recommend it for disabled visitors.

Is there equipment at the house for children?

Yes! High chair, travel cot and mattress, bed guard, changing mat, step, childs loo seat, cutlery, plates, bowls and cups.

There are only 2 of us, can I rent one cottage?

Yes! You can rent Walnut Cottage only and have access to the utility room and downstairs bathroom of Swiss Cottage. Swiss Cottage would not be rented out during your stay so you would have complete privacy and exclusivity of the grounds and swimming pool.

What is the maximum number of people that property can sleep?

10 plus a baby. Walnut Cottage can sleep 6 people (1 double bed, 3 single beds and an additional pull out bed). Swiss Cottage can sleep 4 people in 2 double beds. There is also a travel cot.

Is the pool open all year round?

The property is available to rent from April to November and the pool is heated and open in those months.

Where is the nearest airport?

Les Brandes is within reasonable distance of a number of regional airports. Bergerac and Brive-Soulliac are the closest, at 1hr drive each. Bordeaux, Limoges and Toulouse are all within 2-3hrs drive. Several airlines fly to these airports from London and many other UK airports (Southampton; Bournemouth; Bristol; Exeter; East Midlands).
